Thanksgiving and Cohen's Birthday...all wrapped into one!

So this year Cohen's birthday fell on Thanksgiving.  We did our usual and went to Janice's house (Eric's mom) but this year changed it up a bit and I made the turkey and the other main dishes.  I have done a turkey before, it turned out good, crispy skin (my favorite) and not dry meat.  It was nice to do a bit more then just a side dish this year.  We also celebrated Cohen's birthday and he had a great time getting all sorts of new action figures....he is such a boy, nothing in this world makes him happier then action figures!

Making a birthday wish!

And as always the weekend after Thanksgiving we do another birthday party for Cohen with Cevin and Shelly (Eric's dad and step-mom) and their families.  Cohen of course was very lucky and got amazing gifts from everyone, and thoroughly enjoys them.  We had everything open Sunday and played with by that evening.  All the action figures, NERF gun (I think Eric may have enjoyed that one a bit more then Cohen), coloring books and other toys are out and becoming favorites.  This year he was way more excited about presents then ever before.  He actually started screaming with joy and excitement over gifts....we will be recording him Christmas morning for sure this year!

Small excitement for Spiderman.

Then HUGE excitement for IronMan 2.  It walks, talks and shoots missiles, every 4 year olds dream!

And then blowing out the candles!
